There's no reason enhancing our lives through wellness and community activities has to be a drag. We believe that we can have fun while getting - and staying - healthy, as well as building and serving our community. It's crazy, but we believe you can actually enjoy what you do.

What programs are available through I Want to Walk the Talk?

See the Events page of the site, but here's the list of programs we have hosted: Schmooze Fest - kickoff event; Fun Runs; Yoga Classes; Yoga for Golfers Workshop; Pilates; Bootcamp; ZUMBA; Lunch & Learn - Healthy Moms @ Work; Lunch & Learn - Dawn Jackson Blatner has discussed her best selling book The Flexitarian Diet; Cooking Classes with Centered Chef and Macy's; Volunteer Opportunities; Nutrition Education; Life Coach Sessions (one-on-one); Urban Fitness Scavenger Hunts; Wii Tournament; Intro to Jiu-Jitsu/Self-Defense; Bottles & Brushes

Here are some good vibes from our members and volunteers:

87% of our members felt more energized after the inaugural five-week Summer '08 program and 84% felt an improved work-life balance.

"Participating in I Want to Walk the Talk was a great experience! I got to try so many new things and really ignited my passion for yoga. The sense of enthusiasm and excitement it brought into our workplace was very palpable. People were excited to be involved and take part in all the activities that were provided."

"Walk the Talk is a fantastic idea created by 10SW. There is a lot of potential for growth with this specific idea/concept. An avenue for fitness, wellness and overall to become a better, more well rounded person through a suite of 'you choose' activities that range from running/walking clubs to cooking classes."
